My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you're looking for sweet kittens, you can't get cuter than these house panthers. Donald and Daisy (who has no tail but a cute kitten butt) love to play together, wrestling or chasing after their toys, and would love to stay together. They also like a good sunspot or a friendly lap to cuddle on. They love to chase after their mouse toys and play in their tunnel. Once they get to know you, they'll crawl all over you and ask you for belly rubs!

Interested in meeting Donald & Daisy? All of our cats are in foster homes - we do not have a facility where you can come to meet them. The first step in the process is to complete our online application at https://www.starfishanimalrescue.com/adopt/cat-adoption-application
(you will need to cut and past this link into your browser window to get started)

Clicking the "Start your Inquiry" button is internal to Petfinder, and will only delay the process - please copy the link above to our application to start the process.

The adoption fee of $330 for the pair includes spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new cat for your family.

Go meet their pets

We are not a shelter. We are a group of pet lovers and advocates who are committed to targeted rescue. Starfish Animal Rescue is a licensed rescue that is run by an all volunteer staff.
Once we rescue a dog or cat, it is placed in one of our foster homes until we are able to find it a suitable home. We are happy to set up an appointment to meet our pets once we receive and review your completed application.

We do our best to process applications quickly but please understand that we are a foster based rescue and that our volunteers work jobs; many are full time. Sending in a completed application is the best way to facilitate this process. You can go on our website www.starfishanimalrescue.com and download an application
Once your application is reviewed, we will put you in contact with the dog's foster family to set up a time to meet the pet of your choice!
Thank you for supporting our rescue and what we are trying to accomplish in southeastern Kentucky.
