My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ohtani

Ohtani is a handsome eight month old gray tabby boy. If you are looking for a quiet and calm cuddly buddy to keep you company, you should meet Ohtani. He was found out on his own and a rural area and and had to endure some love therapy and learned affection was good! His foster  decided to call him Ohtani as it translates to “ big Valley “ because when he was found he was found alone in the big valley . He still has some coy moments, but once you give him a good scratch on the head, he turns into a purr machine and his ears scrunch back like a puppy! He is good with other cats and kittens along with adults and teenagers, but hasn’t been introduced to dogs and isn’t the best candidate for a home with young children as he does best in a calmer environment. If you’d like to relax and kick back with a kitty on your lap is the best one for you.

More about this rescue

Whiskers, Tails and Ferals is a network of volunteers and foster families caring for dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens who have been abandoned, are feral, or are facing the threat of being euthanized at an animal shelter.
All dogs and cats that come into our program are spayed or neutered. Felines are FeLV and possibly FIV, vaccinated, wormed (as needed) and micro-chipped.
All sick animals are immediately put under the care and supervision of a Napa veterinarian and Whiskers, Tails and Ferals pays for their medications.
The cats and kittens that are not able to be tamed, are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and returned to their colonies where colony guardians continue to feed and care for them.
