My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, I am Coconut.
It is with great relief that I share my story of resilience.
Previously, I endured severe harm at the hands of my owner, who intended to harm me further. Thank God his stepdaughter contacted the rescue that promptly stepped in providing timely veterinary care. The examination and X-ray results showed that my scapula was detached from my rib cage, likely caused by him jerking or swinging my front legs. Can you imagine the pain that I endured? 😭💔
Although authorities were notified, no action ensued due to the stepdaughter’s minor status and because I was no longer in danger. I can only hope for Divine justice.
Under Dr. Romo's expert care, I have regained mobility despite permanent damage. According to Dr Romo I don’t require any special care other than a shallow litter box. I am spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and love attention.
Now, I seek a loving home to call my own, where kindness, respect, and love will be my reality.
If you can offer such a haven, please fill out an application so the rescue can contact you.
I pledge lifelong devotion and gratitude.
Please share this post so I can find my furever home.
Thank you.
With Love,
Coconut

Additional adoption info

Our adoption fees are $100 for a single rabbit and $160 for a bonded pair which includes an examed, spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped bunny. A spayed or neutered rabbit makes a much better pet. If you are ready to make a ten year commitment and welcome a bunny into your family, we welcome you to fill out the adoption application. We will contact you to tell you more about our rabbits, conduct a phone interview, meet the rabbits, and set up a home visit. If everything approved you can take the bunny home.
