Meet the magnificent Mega! He is one of the mellowest and most affectionate kittens we know.
Mega is a sweet, social guy who loves to follow his people around everywhere they go! All he wants in life is to be by the side of his friends. He’s a confident guy who will go right up to you to ask for some love. He enjoys getting pets and is always up for a good brush session. When it’s time for a nap or to go to sleep, he is a happy kitty when he’s curled up right next to his people.
Adopters should know that when Mega first came into our care at about 4 weeks old, his skull shape was consistent with a condition called hydrocephalus, or water on the brain. This happens when there is a fluid build-up from an inappropriate drainage system in the brain, and kittens are either born with it or it develops over time. While in our care, Mega has not shown any clinical signs for hydrocephalus. In some cases, an animal may never show clinical signs, in which case the prognosis for the condition is good. If clinical signs do develop, the prognosis is poor without advanced veterinary care. When you apply for Mega, our Adoption Team will be happy to share more information about his medical history and expected future care.
Mega is a very special boy who can’t wait to find the home of his dreams! He is looking for an adopter who will give him all the love he wants, as well as lots of playtime and tasty treats – he especially likes lickable treats! He also loves to play with other cats and kittens, so he may do well with a feline roommate in the home.
