My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Squeak, the sweetest little cuddle bug you'll ever meet! This adorable tri-colored girl is about a year old and already has her snuggle game perfected. Squeak is as sweet as sugar, and she's not shy about letting you know when she's ready for some love-with the cutest little voice you've ever heard!

She's a pro at rolling over and giving you her best "pretty please" eyes, all in exchange for some well-deserved belly rubs. Squeak is precious, gentle, and oh-so-ready to find her forever home where she can curl up, snuggle in, and melt hearts on repeat. If you're looking for a furry friend who's all about the love, Squeak is ready to be your snuggly!

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
