My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ginger is a gorgeous, sweet, playful, and cat-loving, golden-eyed, one-year-old orange tabby cat looking for a loving guardian.

Ginger was relinquished to Friends of Petraits Rescue when he kept showing up in a family’s backyard… his original family could not be found. He wore no collar, and he wasn’t microchipped or neutered.

Ginger has worked his way into his foster mom’s heart. He loves people and other kitties. He would love to go to a home with another feline to snuggle with.

Ginger is a little shy with new people but well-socialized. He is an all-around fabulous feline who uses his litter box and scratching post.

He is very healthy, dewormed, neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies and distemper and virus-tested negative.

To meet and possibly adopt Ginger, please fill out an adoption application https://friendsofpetraits.com/cat-adoption-application/

After the application is complete, please contact friendsofpetraits@gmail.com to schedule an appointment to meet them.

His adoption fee of $175 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue. He is being fostered in Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood.
