My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What can we say about the absolute best girl? We adore Gwen. She is one of those special kitties that will sit in your lap to cuddle for hours and have actual conversations with you. She’s extremely gentle and loves other animals and is pretty submissive so a home with equally affectionate cats or dogs a must. This girl was found with horrible wounds and has made a complete recovery ❤️‍🩹. We will be picky with her applications so be patient. She also needs a foster home.
Gwen is FIV positive but lives with several non FIV kitties. They can cohabitate just fine if they all get along. Let’s get Gwen a home!

More about this rescue

CARF: The Critical Animal Relief Foundation has been established to provide urgent medical, surgical and fostering resources for non-terminal and terminal animals in need of safety, healing and the relief of pain and suffering when time is of the essence and resources are scarce. CARF works independently and in conjunction with other responsible rescue organizations. CARF advocates for proactive legislation to prevent and punish animal abuse, supports animal awareness campaigns targeting at-risk children and adults, sponsors animal assistance programs for marginalized individuals, and funds educational programs to enlighten future generations for the betterment of animal welfare and responsible animal stewardship. We serve Chicago and the greater Chicagoland area.
