Meet Maybelle and Millie. (Note: Millie's profile is listed separately.) They are bonded female fur siblings and must be adopted together. We believe they are dachshund/chihuahua mixes (chiweenies). Millie is the all-black one, and Maybelle has brown on legs and face, and a white chest. Millie is 9lbs and around 6 years old. Maybelle is 10lbs and around 5 years old. They both love to cuddle. They love to play together and to play with toys. They are house trained, and pee pad trained. Maybelle is fine on leash, but Millie is a work in progress. For this reason, they do need a fenced yard. Maybelle and Millie came into our rescue as owner surrenders, their dad passed away and the mom did not want them. They are both dog and cat friendly, although Millie will chase a cat if it runs. Maybelle is sweet to everyone, whereas Millie prefers men and takes some time to warm up to women. We think that maybe she had been abused by her human mom. But as long as someone is patient with her and lets her go at her own pace, she will eventually realize that all women are not bad. She is currently in a foster home with her foster mom. We will adopt them to an all-adult home only.
