Nori is a 10 month old Schnoodle (Schnauzer x Miniature Poodle) mix ready to serve up some serious cuteness! Nori was rescued from the shelter. We don’t know how she ended up needing a rescue but we happily agreed to scoop her up and find her the perfect forever home. One haircut and a few baths later, our girl was looking like a brand new dog! Nori weighs 15 pounds and we think she is just about at her adult weight. She has a non-shedding coat and will require regular grooming. Nori is an option for homes with allergies. If you’re ready for a furry friend forever, meet lovely Nori!

Nori arrived in her foster home a bit scared of the big world around her but flash forward a few days and she showed us her sweet and playful personality. It was like she just needed a haircut to shed her old life and welcome this new chapter with open paws. Now, she’s always ready for snuggles and cuddles from her foster mom. She’s also a total foodie and enjoys her meals out of a puzzle toy, demonstrating how clever she is! Nori is very playful and loves zooming around the yard as she chases after her squeaky toys and tiny tennis balls. Once she figures out the whole “walking on a leash” thing, we have no doubt she will tackle any adventure with ease as long as you’re by her side! Nori is a perfect blend of laid back and playful and fits in seamlessly with the dynamics in her foster home. She is easy to love and she deserves all the affection and adoration in the world. Her lucky forever home will hit the jackpot once she trots through their front door. In fact, Nori’s foster says she will be one of her hardest fosters to say goodbye to and she’s fostered over 50 dogs for DPS. What a compliment for this sweet, lovely girl.

Nori wakes up at 5 AM as her foster mom starts her day early. She has breakfast and then heads back to sleep for another few hours. During the day, Nori spends most of her time lounging around the house when her foster mom is at work. When her foster mom works from home, she lounges and hangs out in the yard with one of the resident dogs. Nori loves getting snuggles during the day but is also a fabulous WFH buddy as she’s content to lounge the day away if you let her. Nori has dinner at around 5 PM and then hangs in the living room as she starts to get herself ready for bed. She goes out for one last potty and then curls up in her dog bed for bed.

Nori lives with two resident dogs and gets along fabulously with them both. She loves cuddling with the senior dog who is famously dog choosey. Nori would benefit from a canine companion in her forever home as she continues building her confidence. Nori needs a home ready to work on her training and leash walking skills as everything was brand new to her when we saved her. If you are ready to help Nori take on the world, she will show you all the love she can muster. Come meet lovely Nori today!

Nori is only an option for homes who have recent prior dog owning experience. Ideally, her forever home will have a resident dog. Kids should be over the age of 13.
