Pot Pie is a 6 month old Boston Terrier x Labrador Retriever mix ready to be your favorite comfort meal! Pot Pie was rescued from the shelter when our volunteers arrived to save some other dogs. We met Pot Pie who was waiting for a savior and we decided we just couldn’t leave this beautiful gal behind. Pot Pie currently weighs around 22 lbs and we expect she will be around 40-45 pounds as an adult, so a total Mini Lab!! She’s got the perfect adorable puppy dog faced mixed with the best personality in the world. We know this girl is destined for great things and that the family lucky enough to adopt her is going to hit the jackpot once they heat up this fabulous Pot Pie and enjoy her on a cold winter night! If you’re ready to discover your new favorite cold weather comfort, stop on by and scoop up some of our Pot Pie!

Pot Pie is a snuggly little gal who can’t wait to make herself at home on your lap and never let you go! Pot Pie arrived at our rescue a bit discombobulated due to her being left by her former home, but she quickly realized we had neverending treats and snuggles and she was all in! Pot Pie is super friendly and loves playing whether with canines or her humans. She is curious about the world around her and every day is a new adventure as she explores more of her surroundings. Pot Pie LOVES giving kisses and honestly what could be better than smooches from an adorable puppy? We can’t think of anything! Once Pot Pie chooses you as her people, she will be your faithful companion for life. Even though she may not quite be lap dog size, she sure thinks she is and she’s just too darn cute for us to break the news to her. She’s basically a weighted blanket mixed with a kissing machine. Pot Pie is smart, agile, energetic, and playful. She plays hard and sleeps harder. She really loves to show off her zoomies and squeak her toys for hours at a time like any good puppy does! She would be an amazing hiking buddy or heck, maybe even running buddy as long as you train her to rack up those miles on Strava! Pot Pie loves to play tug of war with her rope toys or chase a squeaky toy across the yard. She keeps herself very busy but is always down for some cuddles if you call her over. Pot Pie’s foster mom loves her curious nature and her intelligence. We know that she will be the star of any family gathering as she knows off her roaster of tricks, as long as you have a treat for her! She is just an all around lovely little lady and named after one of the best comfort foods to boot!

Pot Pie wakes up around 6:30 AM when her foster mom gets out of bed. She heads right out for a potty break before zooming inside for her breakfast. Once she finishes eating, she goes outside for potty again. She heads into her crate while her foster mom gets ready for the day and then goes into the yard for some playtime with the resident large dog. She usually gets a 1-2 mile morning walk followed by a long nap. In the afternoon, she gets her zoomies out in the yard as she chases her toys and her foster brother. She cycles through play and sleep for most of the afternoon before she gets another walk before dinner. She eats at 6 PM and then gets some more playtime in the yard. She hangs out in the living room while her foster mom watches TV for a few hours. Once everyone is ready for bed, she geos out for one last potty before heading to her crate for the night around 10 PM.

Pot Pie gets along fabulously with dogs of all ages and sizes. She would be a great companion for a resident dog but would also  be just fine as a solo pup! Pot Pie loves meeting new people and will be a perfect addition to a dog-friendly community. She walks well on a leash and loves greeting her fellow canine pals. She does well in a crate and is working on her house training. Pot Pie’s dream home is one ready for all that comes with an active puppy. She will thrive with a family ready to make her part of the action and show her all the love she deserves. We know Pot Pie will be the star of the neighborhood, so come on down and start your fabulous new life with her now!

Pot Pie is an option for any home, regardless of prior experience, as long as they demonstrate a preparedness to continue her training and socialization. Kids should be over the age of 9.
