My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

YOGI BEAR and GRIZZLY BEAR are cutest pair of bonded male kittens. At first glance, Grizzly is a black cat, but with a closer look, he has a white tuft on his chest, and in the right light you can see brown stripes. His brother, Yogi, has a black-and-white spotted “cow cat” coat and his name is inspired by the yoga position. Both boys are sweet, playful, and social. They run up to greet you just as soon as you enter the room and then follow you around until they feel they have been properly greeted back. They love to climb the cat tree and chase and wrestle with each other. Batting balls around and chasing wand toys are some of their favorite pastimes. When they’re tired out from play, Yogi and Grizzly enjoy snuggling up with their person or people. Since they’re curious kittens, they like to explore, and while they haven’t darted outside, they may try to explore beyond open doors or windows if given the opportunity. Yogi Bear and Grizzly Bear were found abandoned in a parking lot. A Good Samaritan brought them to our cat rescue where they’ve been cared for by a loving foster home. Now, they’re ready for their own forever home.

They have been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, are negative for FeLV and FIV, and include a free wellness visit with our vet partners. You can meet YOGI and GRIZZLY inside our partner Wags! Dog & Cat Emporium, 136 Oakway Rd, Eugene OR 97401 (Open 10-6, Tues-Sun). Then submit an adoption application for consideration online at www.CatRescues.org/forms, or fill out a paper copy available at the store, and an adoption counselor will contact you.   The $320 adoption fee for the pair allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters are required to complete our application and contract. Our contract stipulates the requirements for care of our pets. These documents are available through e-mail or at our adoption events. The documents are reviewed by our staff and together with a face to face interview we explore the potential new home. If all parties agree to the specifics of the contract the dog or cat can go home. Adoption fee varies with age of pet.
All pets are current on vaccinations, health checked by our veterinarian, De-wormed, treated with flea medication, spayed or neutered, and cats are felv/fiv tested.
