Ziggy is a sweetheart of a dog. He is a friendly, sweet, playful little guy who is looking for a somewhat active home that is able to take him for walks/hikes. He loves getting into his harness. He knows it’s walk time, which he loves. He loves the outside Ziggy needs his space when eating or taking a break such as under the bed or chairs. Let him come to you rather than you go to him and invade his safe space. Do to his need for space, a home with adults and/or older children is preferred. Another four legged playful companion would be great. He enjoys playing with other dogs. He also enjoys playing fetch. Cats are still an unknown since we do not know if
he has been around any.
Ziggy is house trained and leash trained. Sleeps through the night, but needs to go
outside before bed. He is treat motivated. He would do best in a home with a yard due to his love of the outdoors. Any current dogs living in the home must meet her to make sure it is a good fit. He would love an active, exciting, and loving home!

More about this rescue

Arizona Small Dog Rescue is a non profit registered 501(c)3 no kill rescue shelter. We are a group of volunteers who have dedicated our lives to rescuing and saving homeless, unwanted, abandoned, neglected, and abused small dogs. We save most of our animals from kill shelters around the valley, but also accept owner surrenders and stray surrenders. Owner surrender fee’s vary depending on space and availability. We spay/neuter, vaccinate, medically examine, microchip, and evaluate and/or socialize all dogs that come into our rescue before placing up for adoption to pre-screened homes. We rescue many dogs every week and always have a wide variety of personalities and breeds available who would be a perfect fit for any family and any home.
