My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Maple!

This sweet as syrup pup recently came to AFRP from Hitchcock Road Animal Services and secured her spot in a loving foster home! Now, she's ready to give her puppy love to her furever family!

Maple is your typical puppy and is doing absolutely amazing in her foster home! They share that she's a cuddle-professional and is a big fan of playing whenever she gets the chance! She's working hard on her puppy manners and is currently learning how to loose-leash walk, sit, and her recall! Maple can be a bit nervous at times if she is left alone, but is currently working on this as well.

Maple would love to find a furever home with adult adopters, or with families who have dog-savvy children over the age of 10 at this time. She would love to have another playful pup in the home, and while she was introduced to foster kitten siblings and did fine she was a bit too hyper for them! Any introductions to new animals in the home should be done slowly and over time.

Maple is currently in foster care. Meet and greets can be arranged once your online application has been approved. Visit www.animalfriendsrescue.org for our online dog application.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees help to cover the cost of the care the animal has received during their time with us, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, deworming, and flea treatment and basic foster care.

All potential adopters complete an application and are screened using a standardized series of questions by a trained adoption counselor. If the application and screening are satisfactory, a qualified adopter can complete a contract, pay the adoption fee and take the animal home.
