Meet Macy!

Macy is a gentle 12-year-old female Chihuahua mix who’s ready to find her forever home through Tired Dog Rescue in Gulfport, MS. Her beautiful gray coat and soft eyes reflect her calm and sweet nature, perfect for someone looking for a loyal companion. Macy weighs in at 28.2 pounds and is a bit overweight, but she’s working on slimming down to be at her best for her new family!

Macy has a few manageable health needs: she has allergic dermatitis and Malassezia, both of which are under control with care. Additionally, she has periodontal disease, but she’s scheduled for a dental and spay to ensure she’s as healthy as can be. With a little extra love and attention, Macy will make a wonderful addition to any household.

Our fees range from 75.00 to 450.00 depending on the age of the dog. They must submit an application and if the application sounds good then a home visit will be set up. We are very strict about what we look for on the home visit. If app and home visit are approved then we bring the dog for a meet and greet. All dogs are vaccinated, spayed/neutered and healthy before adoption. I do ask that the family update us frequently on the dog as we like to keep up with each and every pet we adopt out.

We LOVE dogs! We wish that we could help more than we do and hopefully someday we will expand and be able to do much more in our community to rescue and train dogs for placement and to educate the community about the importance of spay and neutering their pets and recruit more people to lend a hand.
