This absolutely adorable pup recently came into AFRP's care after Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter reached out for help landing him in a rescue following a fractured pelvis after suspecting he was hit by a car. Now, recovered thanks to the continued dedication of our clinic and his loving foster family, Seymour is ready to snuggle his way into his furever family!
Despite Seymour's ruff start in life, he doesn't let anything slow him down! His foster says he gives the best and the absolute sweetest puppy kisses to let you know he loves you! He's also a total cuddle-bug too! Seymour would make the best bed warmer for these coming winter months!
Seymour would love to find a home with adult adopters or with families who have dog savvy children over the age of 12. Due to his prior injury, Seymour should be placed in a home with dogs similar in size or weight. He has also seemed indifferent to cats! He may do just fine given proper and slow introductions to any animals in the home.
Seymour is currently in foster care. Meet and greets can be scheduled once your online application has been received and approved. Visit www.animalfriendsrescue.org for an online application.

Additional adoption info
Adoption fees help to cover the cost of the care the animal has received during their time with us, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, deworming, and flea treatment and basic foster care.
All potential adopters complete an application and are screened using a standardized series of questions by a trained adoption counselor. If the application and screening are satisfactory, a qualified adopter can complete a contract, pay the adoption fee and take the animal home.
