We require an adoption application, upon receipt of which we conduct a background check to insure the best adopters possible. Our adoption fee is a flat $75.00, which includes spay/neuter and all vaccinations. ALL animals leaving our facility or adoption are spayed/neutered before they go home (unless against Veterinarian advice, in which case a deposit is taken and aggressive follow-up occurs).

More about this shelter
Although we are the municipal animal control, we work hand in hand with Rescue organizations and the public to place as many animals as possible, day in and day out. We have, in the past eight months, quadrupled our adoptions and reduced our euthanasia rate by nearly thirty percent overall. We have, in the last year, adopted out almost a thousand pets.
We have further begun a program of pursuing and prosecuting animal cruelty in the County for the first time. We also provide services such as free vaccines for pets; in July we vaccinated (for free) over one thousand pets, most of whom had never been vaccinated.
