My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bear is a calm older male who has life left to live. He can be grumpy with vets, but is fine around those not poking and prodding medically. Bear was found as a stray, is good with other dogs, walks well on a leash. The shelter vet didn't find anything noteworthy, but felt he might be too old to neuter (or possibly too cranky as Bear made it clear he was not pleased with the thermometer activity). We will have some bloodwork done at our vet and see if they agree. Bear has a gorgeous coat and chill personality. He is about 45 pounds. He is fostering just east of San Francisco.

We require an adoption questionnaire (found online at www.PeiPeople.com) from all prospective adopters as well an an adoption contract , home visit and a reasonable adoption fee. We do not have any "free" animals.

Any pets that are not already neutered upon rescue will be neutered before placement into homes, unless a medical condition prohibits surgery.

Go meet their pets

At this time we are showing pets by appointment. Most of the pets displayed here are in foster care, some are in kennels at boarding facilities and need foster homes. Please feel free to email us so you can fill out an application, which is required prior to meeting dogs

We are happy to send additional photos and bios of pets to prospective adopters.
