My name is Rosemary, and I am a princess. I am a lot more reserved and cautious than Lemon Pepper. Thank goodness she is always around to let me know something is safe and it is okay to interact with it. I really dont know what i would do without her. I know I look scared in my picture, but I was just waiting on her for nap time, and I was a little chilly. I love chin scratches and back rubs, but these things are going to be done when I'm ready. Well... it's more like when I get jealous of Lemon Pepper getting all the loves. When i decide it is my turn, I am the purriest of kitties. I'm somewhat of a perfectionist and keep my sister in check. I help her get groomed when she doesn't do it well enough, keep our bed in order, and keep the litter box nice and covered up. Making biscuits in our bed is how I let her know it is nap time.
I am always the first one to test the treats,
but pate meals are a no-go for this princess. I have come a LONG way since we left the shelter, and our foster family believes it would be bad for my progress if I went back or was adopted by a different family from my sister. Please don't take her from me!

Acadiana Animal Aid (AAA) is the region’s leader in animal transport, adoption, and education. We provide a safe place to land for animals at risk of euthanasia before they take off to their adoptive homes. For 48 years, AAA has played a vital role in saving animals from impoverished, resource-deprived communities. We transfer in pets at risk of euthanasia from municipal shelters throughout the state, provide veterinary and daily care, and create pathways to their futures. AAA is known locally and nationally for its lifesaving strategies to reduce the euthanasia rate of shelter pets in Louisiana. Our commitment to saving our region’s pets runs deep – in 2022, we saved nearly 2,000 cats and dogs through local adoptions.
