My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Navy wants to be everyone's best friend, and his tail won't stop wagging. This energetic little dude might have snuck into Muttville with a fake ID. We'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt, but he is way too peppy and savvy with social media to be a senior. Please, no one give him any alcohol just in case.

Here's some notes from his foster:

Navy is the ultimate ray of sunshine ! This joyful pup's tail never seems to stop wagging, and those big, soulful eyes are always on you, ready for his next belly rub session. Wherever you go, Navy's right behind, like your own loyal little shadow. He's a master of comfort too, somehow always discovering the fluffiest spot to cozy up, whether it's a blanket, a pillow, or the perfect sunny patch for a nap. Though his hearing may not be as sharp, he's as friendly as can be, winning over both people and dogs alike with his warm, gentle charm.

Navy is the cutest, wiggliest dog. When he comes for pets, because he is so happy, he is constantly in motion as he's getting ear scratches and belly rubs. He's the perfect apartment dog. He doesn't take up space and is very quiet. He's totally unbothered by people moving through the hallways and noises of neighbors. He never barks.

He's friendly and confident around other dogs. Even if another dog barks at him while on a walk, he stays calm, happy, and unfazed. He can be a bit possessive around his toys. Since he really loves fetch, I have found that it's best when I play fetch with him I have two toys. One that I throw to him, and he brings that one back and then I throw the other one that's not in his mouth. It's the perfect system for him.

He's a great dog for morning people, or someone who wants to be a morning person. He wakes up with so much joy and excitement, I also get happy to see his joy and it feels great to be enjoying the fresh air early in the morning.
