My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Glinda!

Glinda entered Long Beach Animal Services as a stray. When she wasn't claimed, we scooped her up on October 30th to become a Frosted Face. She is around 10 years old and weighs 46 lbs., a perfect mid-size pittie!

Glinda is a very sweet and lovable girl who is eager to please and smart. She enjoys car rides, walks nicely on leash, and is perfectly behaved at restaurants. Glinda is polite when meeting new people and happily accepts petting. She is a gem!

A week after Glinda arrived at FFF, she was chosen to live in a Foster home. Her foster family shared this first update:

"Glinda (the good witch) checking in! Glinda has had a busy week. Not only did she have her spay, they removed 3 mammary masses and one eye lid mass as well. Here are some things we learned while she has been recovering:

* Glinda is completely house-trained. No accidents and waits to be invited in a room or on the couch. She must have been taught to go to another room during dinner, as she refuses to be in the same room once we start eating.
* Glinda does not react to other dogs and will avoid any barking or overeager dogs.
* Glinda has a timid personality and can get spooked by noises and unexpected things. She recovers pretty fast but it is a good idea to have a good hold on the leash.

Glinda is so sweet, and we are excited to learn more about her as she starts to feel better!"

Check back soon for the next update on how Glinda is doing!
