My name is Demetri!

When Demetrie was rescued, he was found to have an untreated paw injury that required amputation of his front limb. He healed and adjusted beautifully. His original family would not be able to keep Demetrie indoors and was grateful for help with re-homing him.

Demetrie is an affectionate lap cat who rolls over for belly rubs when you stroke him. He is small with velvety short fur and loves to play in the cat tunnel or scratch on the tall scratching posts. Just a year and a half old, he has been neutered, vaccinated and combo tested negative. He is very cat friendly and loves to sleep in laps. Since he was used to having the run of the outdoors until his surgery October 3, his family will need to be vigilent about not letting him slip out the door. So a busy household with children running in and out might not be the best fit. He is a joy to be around.
