My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bucky. Rescued from the Oak Hil neighborhood with his mom and siblings, this loveable ham has a personality as big as his heart.

This playful little guy loves nothing more than snuggling on a warm lap, where he happily makes biscuits under a cozy blanket. Bucky is a social butterfly, enjoying playtime with his siblings and forming delightful friendships with his foster mom's older cats. Food is Bucky's ultimate passion-he's incredibly food motivated and isn't shy about expressing his excitement at dinner time, often letting out adorable screams to ensure he gets his meal. Bucky must be adopted with one of his siblings or alone to a home with another young cat.

Bucky is just shy of 5 months old, neutered, vaccinated, flea treated, dewormed, microchipped, and tested FIV/FeLV negative. He is available at the Waterfront (Homestead) Petco Adoption Center.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Adopting a cat is a big responsibility and commitment, but it's also one of the biggest acts you can ever do for an animal in need.

Each and every cat in our care has their own story and background. They are all fully vetted, fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative (unless otherwise specified). Because of this, our adoption fee is $95 for one cat over 1-year-old or $155 for 2 and $110 for one cat under 1-year-old or $195 for 2.

Our approval process includes a vet reference (personal reference if you've not had a vet in the last 5 years), virtual home tour, and landlord approval should you be a renter.

The completion of an application does not guarantee approval for adoption.
