My name is Skyla!

Look at this face! Does it remind you of a little girl wearing ear muffs? Skyla Mae is a 8 month old female Border Collie mix. Her up and down past has not dampened her spirits. At 4 months her family became homeless and she was given to a friend. The friend kept her for a while, and then dumped her in a neighborhood. A rescue network volunteer reached out to MoKan for help.

Skyla is friendly, outgoing, playful and a quick study. She loves car rides, meeting all people, great with kids. She loves playing with all dogs, and toys. Skyla does need a fenced yard to keep her safe. She would love companion dog to romp and play, but ok as an only dog. She is fully vetted, heartworm negative and on monthly prevention.

Skyla is a smarty pants, treat motivated, and already learned "SIT", "DOWN", "PAW" and "PLACE". She is working on "LEAVE IT' and "WAIT". She is housebroken and sleeps in a crate at night. Skyla loves taking walks and running in the yard. She is learning to play fetch - bringing the ball back is a work in progress.

Skyla is up to date on all vaccinations, on HWP and Flea and Tick preventative.
