My name is Dixie!

Sweet, cuddly, loving 4 year old spayed female dog looking for someone to shower with live. Her owner got deployed overseas and needs to find her a new home. I said I would foster her and find her a wonderful new place. She is easy, house trained, rarely barks and entertains herself well. Will need some leash training. She had a nice playdate with a male dog, but yesterday when I was walking her, she did get upset walking past another dog. I don’t know if she was trying to protect me or felt threatened? I feel she was not socialized much. I have a cat and they are in the same room often, but I did see her bark and chase him once, when he walked by her. She always has a big smile and so easy. Not demanding or needy. She is so cute too.
