My name is Copper!

Copper was given to a family when he was a tiny puppy, as the owner had to go off to college, with the promise that one day she would return to him. When she finished, however, she did not come to collect Copper, and the family could no longer take care of him, so they asked me to look after him. As this was my first dog, the challenges were there, but Copper was well behaved enough to make the transition easier. Him being house trained was the biggest relief. Copper does not like cats, but lived with 5 other dog before me. He can be a little excited when meeting a new dog, so I haven't been sure how to best approach new animals around him. He's a loyal dog, and he'll follow around any friend and look for someone to play with. When he wants to go outside, he'll let you know.

I wish I could continue to care for Copper, but financially, it isn't feasible for me right now to have a pet. That, and I am moving temporarily to Peru for several months to live with my fiancé and her parents.
