My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Duke. This adorable orange and white boy with a heart full of love was rescued from the heart of Duquesne University. It's a wonder how he ended up in such an isolated spot on campus, but he's ready to find the indoor forever home of his dreams.

Duke has a particular fondness for his scratching post and interactive toys, often entertaining himself by chasing after them with boundless energy. But as the sun sets, this little adventurer turns into a cuddle bug, craving the warmth of a lap and gentle pets. his playful little furball is the epitome of friendliness, always ready to greet you with a soft purr and a playful leap. He must be adopted into a home with another young cat.

Duke is about 3 months old, neutered, vaccinated, flea treated, dewormed, microchipped, and tested FIV/FeLV negative. He is available at the Waterfront (Homestead) Petco Adoption Center.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Adopting a cat is a big responsibility and commitment, but it's also one of the biggest acts you can ever do for an animal in need.

Each and every cat in our care has their own story and background. They are all fully vetted, fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative (unless otherwise specified). Because of this, our adoption fee is $95 for one cat over 1-year-old or $155 for 2 and $110 for one cat under 1-year-old or $195 for 2.

Our approval process includes a vet reference (personal reference if you've not had a vet in the last 5 years), virtual home tour, and landlord approval should you be a renter.

The completion of an application does not guarantee approval for adoption.
