My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone, my name is Indigo and I along with my brother Cobalt were recently taken into the rescue when we were found as stray buns in a local town. We were only about 3 months of age at that time so not really sure why someone would do that to us. Domestic buns do not know how to care for themselves unlike wild buns.

We were here several weeks before we were both old enough to be neutered. The rescue was hoping to keep us together, but we started fighting with each other and have decided it's for the best we are kept separate. We are currently 6 months of age, so we certainly have a long life ahead of us.

Now that I have been neutered, I can start searching for my forever home and that is where you guys come in. I may be a great bonding candidate for any spayed females searching for a friend if you know anyone? I am also learning how to use a litterbox, and my foster mom says I am quite the fast study. That sure makes cleaning up much easier.

I am eating a proper diet of Oxbow Timothy pellets, lots of timothy hay, a big bowl of fresh water and now I am old enough to start having various greens and treats introduced to my diet.

Would you consider opening your heart and home to a sweet guy like me? Please remember this is a 10 year commitment so nothing to be taken lightly.

More about this rescue

After fostering for over 20 years I decided it was time to open my own rescue. Bunnies are intelligent caring sensitive creatures who blossom in the right environment. They have much more spunk and personality than most people realize . You will be a convert once you have the chance to experience first hand how wonderful a compainon they can be.
