My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kali, your future furry best friend. Kali is a stunning mixed breed pup, just 7 months old and weighing 47 lbs. This sweet girl is up-to-date on vaccines, spayed, housebroken, and leash trained, making her ready for a loving home whenever you are.

Her previous owner is heartbroken to part with her but knows that Kali deserves all the love and attention a puppy needs. Kali is a social butterfly who thrives around other dogs and enjoys the company of kids, though an adult household might be the best fit for her playful spirit. She already knows basic commands, and is eager to learn more given the chance.

Kali is such a beautiful pup inside and out and is sure to make her next family complete when the right one comes along. She will need a long decompression period to get well adjusted to her new home after moving around a bit, but with a little love and patience she is sure to snuggle up like there's no tomorrow.

If you’re looking for a loving companion who is so unbelievably deserving of a forever home, Kali is the pup for you. Apply for adoption at https://peace4paws.org/adoption-application. Kali can’t wait to fill your home with joy and share her love with you.

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
