Topaz, a pretty, buff colored cat, was previously adopted but returned recently. She lived in a house with a dog that harassed her, and she will need a special home where she'll be treated with patience and be the only pet. When Topaz first came to her TC Paw foster home, the family could hardly enter the room without her hissing and being visibly nervous. After six weeks, she was much more relaxed - purring, getting on the floor and playing with toys , and easing into being petted and touched. It just takes patience. She has treats to help her relax, and she loves wet food. She needs someone to understand what she's gone through and to see the lovely pet that she will be when she can trust again.
