Who can resist those soulful eyes??? Meet Jackson. He is just under 2 years old and appears to be a shepherd mix but is on the smaller side as he’s only 35 pounds. When he first arrived at the shelter he was a bit nippy but he’s learning that to people, it’s not a good thing. He will need an adopter that is willing to continue to work on this with him, and we do recommend a home with older children due to this.

Jackson is a true nature lover at heart and loves to play outdoors. Perhaps the perfect walking or hiking companion??? He got to spend a weekend at a foster home and he got along well with the family and their dogs. He didn’t have many accidents in their house and did well in his crate.

Jackson is currently in Texas, but upon adoption will be transported to NJ.
