Mowgli is currently 7 years old. He was adopted from the International Street Dog Foundation in April 2018, which rescued him as a little puppy from the streets of New Delhi, India. We adopted him when he was 6 months old. He moved with us from Chicago to LA in 2019. In 2023, my husband died unexpectedly. I've since moved into a new home with other dogs and Mowgli is simply not happy. We have had a couple incidents of biting of the other dogs and after much consulting with professionals, we believe he would be happiest in a home where he is an only dog with an experienced human companion.
Mowgli LOVES people and ripping apart toys to find a squeaker. He's silly, sweet, a bit of a scaredy cat, and incredibly smart, but can also be stubborn and a little aloof. He has reactivity issues with other dogs when on leash, but not all of them. He does have some separation anxiety, so would do best with someone that is home a lot OR has the experience to work with him on that further.
