Prince is a neutered male gray-and-white tabby, born on May 1, 2024. He is named after 'The Artist Formally Known As' because his eyeliner is on point, he's definitely got that look, and he even has his iconic fluffy white scarf. Prince loves to play! He parties like it's 1999 and zooms around like a little red corvette. He's well behaved, loves his scratching post and is fully housetrained. High energy and affectionate, he would do well as an only cat or with one play buddy. This boy is definitely a star worth more than diamonds and pearls! The adoption fee is $100. This covers the cost of spay/neuter, PVR, Rabies, flea, tick, ear mite and worm treatment. To adopt, you need to first fill out an application. Go to:

We are located in Western North Carolina, but we serve New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and additional areas with our transport. The adoption fee covers the cost of spay/neuter, PVR or FVL-CP, Rabies, Flea, tick, ear mite and worm treatment before transport. All of our pets receive a health certification prior to transport. The transport is weekly. After your application is approved, we will contact you regarding cost and delivery.

Rutherford County Humane Society is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that has been serving Rutherford County North Carolina since 1979, with the mission to significantly improve the lives of unwanted and neglected animals, and to measurably decrease this number through our spay and neuter programs, volunteer foster homes, and outreach and education. We are an independent organization that works in collaboration with other area animal advocacy groups. All of our efforts depend on our passionately compassionate volunteers, and financial support from the community. We have made the decision to use our resources to continue promoting the number one solution to our pet overpopulation problem - and that is spay/neuter.
