This charming cat is part teddy bear and all heart, with mesmerizing eyes and a muscular frame cloaked in a beautiful buff coat. Teddy loves to shower you with nose and mouth kisses, snuggle up in bed, and keep you company on your lap during conference calls. Previously the king of his outdoor colony in downtown San Jose, he’s now ready to reign over your heart as an indoor-only kitty!

Teddy is playful with his favorite wand toy and is a breeze to live with, boasting great litter box habits. He’s friendly with other cats but will need a gradual introduction to new companions. Teddy is confident and ready to assert his royal status in your home!

He’s neutered, fully vaccinated, and recently had a dental cleaning. While he does have some early kidney issues common for his age—so fresh water is essential—Teddy is also FIV+ and has asthma, neither of which requires treatment.

Our application is available on our website or at our adoption fairs. We do deliveries of our cats to their new homes to help ensure a successful transition.

More about this rescue

13th Street Cats is an all volunteer organization dedicated to improving the lives of feral and social cats and reducing the population by TNR – Trap, Neuter, Return in Santa Clara County. Kittens and cats that can be socialized are taken into foster care while waiting adoption. With a no kill philosophy, 13th St Cats is pleased to be able to rescue these homeless animals who might otherwise end up in a local kill shelter, helping to reduce euthanasia rates.
