My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a special home for a special needs doggo.
Harvey Day is a 5 and a half year old Pitbull mix. Her and I have been together her whole life, and she is an incredibly loving and intelligent young girl. To share a life with Harvey means more than just owning a dog. She needs a family/someone who is creative, resourceful, and willing to do the research that vets are not willing or able to do. She has dealt with constant pain from genetic hip dysplasia to severe gut issues/food allergies and ACL injuries. By two years old she already had her first surgery for a torn ACL. A year later, a second surgery on the opposite knee. With all this stress and isolation during her recoveries and I suspect a little pain association from playing while having very painful injuries, she is not quite the confident playful, social butterfly she used to be with other dogs. She will always be a people person though, she loves her humans dearly.
