Douglas is a one year old male Chihuahua mix. He is so sweet and loving. His favorite place to be is snuggling on your lap and when he looks at you with his big eyes, it will melt your heart. Douglas loves to go for walks on the leash. He loves to go investigating. Douglas also loves to play. His favorite toy is a squeaky that looks like a horse. He also loves to fetch so if you throw the squeaky, he will run to get it and bring it back. But what Douglas loves the most is your company. He is super sweet. He’s scared in the rescue and he is waiting desperately for someone to come and be his angel and adopt him. DOB 10/24/2023

Many factors determine which applicant will be matched with a particular pet. If you are not able to adopt a pet today, it does not mean that you are not considered a good pet owner or that your home is not acceptable. Our goal is to place all animals into homes that will best suit their individual needs and personality. We will get back with you as soon as possible. Most of our staff are volunteers
