My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Davis, a gentle soul who came to Helping Paws after being rescued by the Animal Rescue Corps from a large hoarding situation involving over 150 small dogs. Understandably, Davis is a bit shy; having grown up in an environment with limited human interaction, he’s still learning what it means to be loved and cared for individually. But since arriving at Helping Paws, Davis has been making remarkable progress, coming out of his shell and growing more trusting with each passing day.

Davis has already mastered going potty outside and has impeccable leash manners, which is impressive given how new a leash and collar are to him. He enjoys spending time in the outside kennel, where he gets to relax in a calm environment, and he gets along well with other dogs.

Davis would thrive best in a patient, quiet home where he can continue to adjust and feel safe as he settles into his new life. If you’re interested in opening your heart and home to this deserving little guy, please reach out to Helping Paws—Davis is ready for a fresh start filled with all the love and affection he deserves.
