My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Nami. I'm a sweet, smart girl that knows my commands and am house trained. I'm good with other dogs that allow me to be the boss lady and I'm good with kids too! I can be a little timid in new situations but with my humans by my side I'm always willing to please. I love soft blakets and my ideal day would be sitting on the couch getting all the love from my family.

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
