My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This beautiful blue-eyed girl is Shea, picked up by one of our officers and brought to the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 10/30. When I ran her pictures through my Dog Scanner app, it indicated that she is 99% pure Siberian Husky. Judging from the calluses on her elbows, it seems likely she has lived mostly as an outside dog. Her dream home would be one in which she would be allowed to live inside with her people and be an important part of their lives. She is a very friendly and sociable girl. Whenever someone came into the room in which I did her evaluation she ran to interact with them. She is quite energetic and a bit restless. When I had her outside in the yard, she explored some, but seemed to want to stay close to me. It was obvious to me she did not want to stay outside. She walked very nicely on a leash. Shea was a-ok with me petting her. She was not interested in toys or balls. She did not seem interested in the treats I offered her.
