Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Marie!!! Marie is a female kitten born approximately 8/21/24. Marie was brought in from a litter of outside kittens roaming a neighborhood, and she is learning the ropes here and that humans are friendly :) She uses the litterbox and is handleable and will play. She would love to go to a home with another friendly cat, or dog to be pals with! Her adoption fee is $125 and includes her spay, microchip, vaccinations and felv/fiv testing. Please call 630-553-9256 or email animalcontrol@kendallcountyil.gov, or stop by during our open business hours to meet him.

Kendall County Animal Control is the county agency responsible for enforcement of the state statutes governing rabies control in domestic companion animals. The State of Illinois requires that all dogs are vaccinated against rabies by a licensed veterinarian. Compliance with this law is monitored through the issuance of rabies tags for all dogs residing in the county. All dogs are required to wear their rabies tags when off of the owner's property. If a pet is lost, rabies tags also provide an excellent means of identifying your pet.
Kendall County Animal Control also enforces the county's ordinance that prohibits dogs from running at large in unincorporated residential subdivisions, investigates reports of animal bites, and will pick up contained stray dogs in unincorporated Kendall County during operating hours. Stray and owner released cats and dogs may also be brought to the facility during business hours. Cats and dogs are available for adoption at the facility.
