Meet Fred!

Fred was not thriving in the shelter and it’s clear why — he absolutely loves being with his people. Fred is a super snuggly, playful flop dog with a heart of gold. He loves to flop into his bed, onto the floor to watch you cook, and into you while you’re on the couch so that he can get maximum cuddles.

We’ve taken Fred to Petco several times in his “Adopt Me” vest and he is the star of the show. Everyone who meets him gets a gentle hello from him, humans and dogs alike. He’s had other dogs bark at him and he’s never barked back.

He’s absolutely fantastic with our dog. They play really well together. We think Fred would do well as an only-dog or in a pack. He’s also been incredibly quiet so far — we’ve only heard a few gentle boofs at some squirrels out the window, but that might change once he fully settles into his forever home.
