My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Thomas was running around as a stray for a few days before we were contacted about him. He was very fearful and would not get close to anyone so we had to set a live trap to catch him. Once he was caught he turned into a love bug. Thomas was just scared and confused. He also has very bad eye infections so he was limited to using one cloudy eye to get around. No wonder he was so fearful. We believe him to be a 10 year old plus dog. He will go to the vet soon to find out a better age but he is a senior boy. Thomas is so loving and cuddly. Very food motivated where he was out starving. He is now doing better, has been neutered and up to date on his vaccines. He would love to be in a home soon!

More about this shelter

Our shelter is staffed by only a few employees so we greatly depend on volunteers to help care for our animals.
We work very closely with rescue groups to help move our dogs out of the shelter quickly. Our goal is to never have to euthanize for space. We cannot do that without rescue assistance because our adoption rates are very low.
