My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jesse is a curious, independent but greatly social lady! She loves being with people and keeping you company even though she is not a lap cat. Keen to investigate anything new, she's a fantastic companion to any household tasks (especially when bedsheets are involved). When the mood strikes her, Jessie transforms into a fierce hunter of a wand toy, so it's important to give her plenty playtime. A tree canopy cat, she loves climbing to high places, and would appreciate a tall cat tree or cat-friendly shelves around the house. When guests come around, she will be the star of the show, gracefully receiving all the attention. Jessie is good with both male and female humans but is not keen on other animals so she needs to be a single kitty in a calm household where she is not left alone for a long time. If there are children in the home, they should be older. To see Jessie in action, please check the video!

More about this rescue

VOKRA’s mission is to end cat overpopulation and homelessness. We rescue, heal, then place cats - first in our network of foster homes, then in carefully matched, loving, forever homes. We are a passionate, volunteer-driven charity with extensive cat care experience. We believe that no kill is the only responsible approach to rescue, that Trap-Neuter-Return works and that cats are AWESOME!
