My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Available for Adoption

Hello, I'm Luis, a 2 year old male standard poodle weighing around 32 pounds. I was abandoned with 4 other poodles during the storm but now I am safe. I've got a heart full of sweetness and a spirit that loves to play. I'm a bit shy at first, and can be timid when meeting new people. Once I get to know you, we'll be the best of friends and I'll be attached to your hip. I do great when meeting other dogs especially if they like to play. I'm a big fan of fetch, belly rubs, and quiet evenings spent by your side. I've got a lot of love to give and I'm hoping to find a family who has a lot of love to give back. Adopting me means gaining a loyal addition who will cherish every moment we spend together!

Luis has been neutered, microchipped and kept current on vaccines and preventatives. You can email julianshumate@gmail.com with any questions or fill out an application here: https://humanesocietyofwilkes.org/adopt/application/julians. To ensure your application was received please email the foster home. You can expect an email response within a week of applying.
