My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

And to think I was worried about this little girl!  Lovely “black tabby” Tavi came to me with her siblings from flood ravaged East Tennessee.  These babies were so tiny when they first arrived.  Tavi received extra feedings of Delectables the first week because she just had to gain some weight.  When she cried, she made no sound.  Tavi was always at my feet, so much so I had to make sure I did not step on her.  I ended up carrying her around.  Tavi has always loved for me to hold her and kiss her.  She and her sister Taya are the two “lap lovers” of the litter, and I am happy to oblige.  They typically both meet me at the door, and I swoop them up and barrage them with kisses!  What a wonderful way to start the day!  The name Tavi means “good”.  Well, Tavi is doing better than good!  Every toy seems to be her favorite toy, but she is especially fond of those plastic balls with bells in them!  She loves chasing those and her sisters around.  Ring, ding, there goes Tavi!  Can you catch her?  You better hurry before someone else does, and then she is gone!

These darling kittens are still too small to be altered.  Tavi and her sisters will be spayed in November and then they will be ready for their new, forever homes.  If you want Tavi to brighten up your life, contact Critter Cavalry Rescue today!

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?
