Hi! Billy here! I am a dapper guy that was brought to the shelter through no fault of my own. After a search for my original owners with no luck, I am now up for adoption and looking for my new family! I am so sweet with all people, and I would most likely do just fine with kids as long as they are okay with a bigger boy like myself! I also don't seem to mind the dogs here, so I wouldn't mind sharing my home with another dog given it is a good fit. I have my fair share of energy and will pull on a leash when I am excited, but I also show my calm side that just wants all the love and affection I can get! I just want someone who will not give up on me. Think I may be a good fit for you? Come visit me at the shelter and find out for yourself!

HSSC places animals on a first come, first serve basis. After an animal that is available for adoption has been met with, the animal’s name can be put on an application. Animals that are applied for must be adopted the same day or within 24 hours of the animal being placed on the adoption application. Exceptions will be made if any animal needs a medical procedure, but then will need to be adopted within 24 hours of being cleared from that procedure. HSSC reserves the right to accommodate alternate timelines for special needs/behavioral issue animals.
It is the potential adopter's responsibility to communicate with their landlord to contact HSSC for approval or to provide documentation stating permission within 24 hours of application submission.
It is also the potential adopter's responsibility to produce a current rabies certificate for their current dog(s) to conduct a dog to dog meet and greet within 24 hours of application submission.
