Meet Paloma!

This cutie chihuahua girl is 5 years old and 10 lbs. Her previous owner kept her outside 24/7. She is now learning to live in a home and she is loving it! She’s very petite, very soft, and very silly. This tiny little Velcro pup has an abundance of love and adoration to bestow upon her future human(s)!

Paloma takes a bit to warm up to people which is not unusual for her breed. She is in a foster home now and learning that couches, beds, cuddles and warmth are so much better than being left outside in the elements.

Paloma is a snuggly wiggle-butt who just wants to be with you. She takes a minute to warm up to strangers but she wants you to know her affection can be bought with cheese or a bite of your breakfast sandwich!

When she’s comfortable with you she’ll roll onto her back and demand belly rubs. She’s got very expressive ears and likes her crate for personal space when she wants it. She travels well in the car, and is a happy little leash walker.

She’s an absolute love, good with dogs and cats, adores kids, initially fearful of men but will warm up after a few days of patience and food-based bribes.

Paloma will do best in a home where she is given time to slowly warm up to people. If you respect her need for a little space at first, she will trust you and be very affectionate and loving.

Paloma is vaccinated, spayed and chipped. Her adoption fee is $450.
