Meet Cardamom!
Cardamom and his siblings were born in our care to mom Gigi Marigold. Mom was found as a stray and was about to give birth when we received her. Thankfully she was able to birth and wean her pups in the safety of a loving foster home. Gigi has been a great mom to the pups and they are all healthy and strong.
We're not sure what their breed mix is, but mom Gigi is a smallish brown and white mixed breed and around 12 lbs. We're not sure who Dad may have been but it is certain that Gigi's pups have a very mixed breed DNA. They will likely grown to about 15 lbs when full grown, possibly a little more.
The pups were born on August 13th and will be ready for their forever homes around October 13th. They will get their first puppy vaccinations and microchip before leaving our care.
Puppies this young require a lot of care. They can't be alone for long periods of time, need lots of socialization and training and need constant minding so they don't get into trouble in the house. Puppies are fun for sure, but you'll need to be ready for the commitment. We want to ensure these pups get the best start in life as we often see the results of poorly socialized and poorly trained dogs who are surrendered later in life.
Adoption fees for the pups is $525. This includes first vaccinations, microchip, 3 rounds of dewormer and spay/neuter when they are older (if done at our vet partners).
You can submit an application via our website savinggreatanimals.org. We review applications in the order they are received.
