My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Majin, the magnificent! This gentle pup may start off a bit reserved, but once he warms up, you'll discover his sweet and affectionate nature. Majin enjoys car rides and is happiest when snuggled up next to you after a nice walk.

Majin loves leisurely strolls, where he's quick to pause for crunchy leaves and to sniff the flowers and bushes. While he might pull on the leash at times, he's attentive and easy to manage when asked to slow down. Majin shows excellent manners when meeting new people, waiting by your side for the all-clear before approaching. When other dogs pass by, he stays alert but composed, never barking or trying to engage.

If you're looking for a laid-back companion who enjoys simple pleasures and quiet moments, Majin could be your perfect match!

Eligible for rescue, foster, and adoption. Meet Majin at ACCT Philly any day of the week from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., or email foster@acctphilly.org to express interest in fostering him.

Behavior notes:
11/4/24 day trip notes: Today I had the pleasure of taking Majin out for a daytrip and he was amazing.

Meet Majin the magnificent. Majin is a gentle pup. He really enjoys car rides and snuggling up next to you after a nice walk. This calm and gentle pup would be perfect for anyone who is nervous about getting a dog. He is great with walks and even though he may try to pull he is very responsive if you need to slow down. On walks he loves stopping to play with crunchy leaves or to stop and sniff bushes and flowers. When encountering other people on walks he understands to wait by your side and confirmation on if it is safe to approach. When encountering other dogs he did become alert of their presence but, didn't bark or try to engage. After walking Majin enjoyed just laying down relaxing with some nice scratches. I recommend Majin and his huge heart for anyone who is looking for a gentle giant.

11/3/24 Per daytrip: Majin was so sweet! He was great in the car, with the kids and on the walk. We bought him a squeaky toy that he enjoyed. He did not like the big bones but enjoyed the tiny ones. He walked nicely on the leash. We took him to the park and he was curious with all the sights, sounds and smells. He did not bark once! We enjoyed our afternoon with Majin!
