I was asked for help in finding a home for Ruby by a previous adopter. It was her father’s cat. He passed several months ago and Ruby has been in boarding. I had received an application weeks earlier from an elderly man who just lost his wife. I felt this would be a good match. The previous adopter donated $175 for my help. Should the cat be returned, previous adopter, Laura Hammel (adopted Janet) would assume responsibility again. Cat is not chipped. Medical will not be complete as ours is
