Meet EMERY, a sweet and spunky little girl with just the right amount of sass!
Emery absolutely loves belly rubs and cuddles—she can be a total lap dog one minute, and then she’s off chasing her foster brother the next. She’s a smart pup, with a determined spirit, eager to learn and please, and always finding a way to get what she wants. This little girl’s personality is full of charm, energy, and playfulness and her foster family will miss her dearly. Emery is ready to bring her sweetness to a forever home that will adore her!

We do not transport dogs. All dogs must be picked up from Northern VA in person by the adopter.

More about this rescue

Somerset Cottage Poodle Rescue, established in 2013, is an all volunteer 501c(3) dog rescue funded by your donations. We rescue companion and senior dogs, at risk for euthanasia, from overcrowded shelters and provide them with the medical attention they need. We also redone dogs for owners who can no longer care for them. We do not have a facility so all of our dogs live in foster homes through out the Northern Virginia area until their adoption day. We are proud that we find them perfectly matched forever homes and families. We rescue and find permanent homes for approximately 250 dogs a year.
